The Australian Digital Health Agency has consulted with hundreds of consumers and clinicians to co-design solutions to deliver measurable improvements for all those who interact with the system. Release 8 sees changes to improved cybersecurity and back end system improvements including:
Medicines and Pathology View enhancements
Simplified Pathology and Diagnostic Imaging View
Changes to ‘Australian Childhood Immunisation Register’ (ACIR) to ‘Australian Immunisation Register’ (AIR)
Usability Improvements to both the provider portal and consumer portal including:
- Set up wizard for first time users
- Content and naming changes based upon feedback from users
- Removal of white space in provider portal for improved readability
- Document count and improved menu structure
- Improved Information Architecture and Navigation such as “Back-to-top” function for efficient navigation
