About Daisy
Born and raised in Alice Springs, Daisy has always been passionate about contributing to a more open and equitable society. Daisy has undergraduate degrees in Community Development and Languages, and has recently completed a Graduate Diploma in Psychology. She plans to continue pursuing her studies towards registration as a Psychologist.
Daisy has been working with AMSANT since late 2016, joining the SEWB team at the end of 2019. She is currently in the role of SEWB Policy Officer and is responsible for implementing the AMSANT Mental Health and SEWB COVID-19 Response Plan in close collaboration with SEWB, Mental Health and AOD Managers from across AMSANT’s member services.
The 4 implementation priorities for the COVID-19 Response Plan are:
- Responding to prevalent community issues and social inequities
- Continued and improved access to SEWB, mental health and suicide prevention and response services
- Workforce capacity strengthening and building the local workforce
- Advocating for more equitable, needs-based funding
