In the Technical Communicare meeting on the 27th of Feb, Maria Palmer the Client Services Manager gave some information out about the proposed release dates for the next versions of Communicare.
The current version is 19.2.1.56, and is in use at several services.
There was an issue in the NT with the initial install of 19.2.1.53, where it was not sending any documents to the NT MeHR. This was rectified with the fixed version (.56) which is now fine.
It appears so-far that 19.2.1.56 is generally stable, but if you have noticed any issues with it, please let us know?
The new version has some nice new features like allowing your local Administrator to resolve user-locks, which previously required a call to the Communicare helpdesk.
There is a new icon against each service listed in “Service Recording” which shows if any Progress note or clinical item or other information has been added to the consult.
The ability to simultaneously export all a patients Documents to a folder when printing the Patient Summary Report. (Handy in an Evac or Medical information request)
A graphical “Severity scale” for MIMS Drug interactions

The next version of Communicare is scheduled for April 2020, version 20.1 is a limited release.
This includes a newly updated Medications Module, no details yet.
