About Jerry
Jerry is a Mental Health nurse with experience delivering Mental Health care and supervision to remote community clinics across the Kimberley region of WA having worked in Kununurra, Fitzroy Crossing and Broome for the Western Australia Country Health Service.

Jerry has commenced work in the Darwin office and is providing clinical supervision and training opportunities to the staff across our ACCHS clinics which includes general mental health SEWB and AOD support. He is available to provide support and clinical supervision to all workers within the partnered ACCHS family.

Jerry was born in the UK but moved to Australia in 2003. He has lived in Victoria, North Queensland and the Midwest of WA but mainly the Kimberley region. He has worked in mental health for nearly 20 yrs. From 2008 to 2014 specifically in Aboriginal Mental Health as Community Mental Health Professional across the Kimberley. He delivered Mental Health support to remote communities from Kununurra to Broome and 2 years in the Fitzroy Valley, throughout supporting the Katjungta region of the Great Sandy Desert.

He moved to The Northern Territory from Geraldton with his young family late 2018 following a career opportunity for his wife. He is excited to be back in the rural North feeling an affinity for the land and people.

As an English man he recognises the damage his fore fathers have done to Aboriginal Australia and is committed to trying to close the gap in health and society for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
